Every time I play against well cooperated opponents I always lose because I am forced to sac to protect my teammate
One flaw with 4 player chess

My last game my teammate didnt play a simple queen move that would have won but instead decided to to wait until he/she shouldn’t do that and played it at that exact moment.

Bughouse has the same flaw. You could get an incompetent teammate, and there’s really nothing you can do.

There is a version of 4 player where it is every man for himself instead of Red-Yellow vs Blue-Green.

The problem with solo is the point system. I wish it was just last man standing, it would be a lot more fun.

I had a teammate who was higher rated than me and hung 2 minor pieces in the first 10 moves and my opponent forked me with a knight so I lost my rook...(I checkmated my opponent before my teammate got checkmated)

I get it, I am really low rated in 4PC, and so when I play Teams, my higher-rated teammates are always super mean to me because of that. It doesn’t help that I don’t follow their arrows, but in actuality they never explain any of their moves and just expect me to obey like a dog. (Don’t get me wrong, I do believe that they’re good moves, I just don’t get anything explained to me.) I’ve been blocked by several people and am no longer afraid to uphold my boundaries, which people also hate. It’s why I stopped playing variants. I just think that in general, the variant server is much more toxic than normal chess.com.

Different situation but same solution, cant CC just pair same rated people together? So we don’t have a 1700 teamed with a 900, cuz then the 1700 will not be happy cuz the 900 sucks and the 900 will not be happy because the 1700 is toxic (potentially) PROBLEM SOLVED
When u get a teammate who cant even protect themselves from basic checkmates and just doesn’t cooperate as well as they should.
