Consider this: a team of fairy chess pieces with (almost) disjoint sets of movements among them and on the other side, a one-man piece that combines the movements sets of the pieces team. Which side do you prefer in general (N vs 1)? Why? Suppose the existence of the King in each team.
Examples:
1. King, Rook, Bishop, kNight vs King, Amazon
2. King, Rook, Bishop, kNight, Camel vs King, Actress
