Rooked featuring Nans Hiemann

Hey there chess community,

We made Rooked with Nans Hiemann — a game about the other side of Chess.

Rooked is made with the deepest love for chess, with the respect to the chess rules and chess community. METACHESS, a board game in Rooked, is inspired by chess tradition, reflects chess grand strategies and yet is easy to play for everyone. METACHESS gives a person who may never have played chess the understanding of the grandiosity of the chess learning curve and the feeling of being on top of it. The game is simple, fun and surprisingly deep. It takes months to become a strong competitive player.

You can even play it at home with a pizza box and a standard chess piece set!
