Tomato, it appears you’ve put James’s Rook on the wrong file. I was under the impression it was attacking my King, not my Rook.

It appears that way because it is that way. Let me fix it.

Also, it is not attacking your king as my gracious bishop is saving you from demise.

I will point out the irony of complaining when people move their pieces near you and then just capturing people's pieces like it's nothing...

I wouldn’t be taking your own pieces if you didn’t drive me to do so via threatening my own. You will note I did not touch your Knight so long as you weren’t attacking me.

If threatening a piece counts as attacking someone you started it by attacking my knight.

N(91;7) seen as my knight isn't frozen.

I attacked your defended Knight with a piece of higher value. You attack my undefended King with a piece of lower value. There’s a difference here.

I haven't attacked your king.

You've attacked MY bishop. Now I have a problem with that. 

What do you call placing your Rook on the same file as my king?

A bishop for a bishop. You took mine, I don't see why I shouldn't at least try and get one back.
