Understanding Different Pieces in Variants

Does anyone know where there are explanations of what the different pieces do for variants? For example, in the Cornered Chess variant, how do I learn what the different pieces, such as the dragon looking knight, or the weird bishop thing are called and the rules for them? It seems like chess.com is very very light on providing rules and explanations for the variants which is disappointing.

I agree with you that it's hard to find rules for variants, and also tricky to navigate between the variants that are featured on chess.com. Perhaps I need to look harder, but same here, I haven't found the rule yet for the knight that looks like a dragon.

Having said that I'd like to point out that variants exist independent from how flimsy / click-baity chess.com is handling it.
