Actually, it's not a variant at all, but more of a type of match. Mainly to put an end to the whining of people who don't get a rematch.
So, the variant looks like this: Both players start with 5+0 (or increment if you like). The one who wins the first game gets one minute less in the next game. Whoever wins the last game (with one minute) has won the match.
