Also, if it has historic pieces from chaturanga, Metamachy, Grant acedrexm Tamerlane, Courier, Shogi etc, then it would be a combo of a whole bunch of variants!

Which variants can be combined together to create a new variant which is playable and makes sense? For example, King Of The Hill and 3 Check would not be very good together most of the time, as both targets will be almost impossible to both achieve.
Also, Bughouse and Crazyhouse would not be able to be combined together, as they are basically the same idea, except bughouse is with two more players.
However, Live 960 should be able to be combined with most variants, as it is similar to standard chess.
What are some peoples thoughts on variants that go well together?
