There is no such variant here, but what is Wild 5 on ICC and FICS.

The way Wild 5 works is the White pieces start on the 8th rank - King on d8, Q on e8, White pawns on the 7th, Black pawns on the 2nd, and Black pieces on the first - King on d1, Queen on e1. All pawns are 1 move from promotion.

Black's first 2 moves are forced as otherwise 3.Ne3#. 1.Nf6 Nc3 2.Ng4 Nd5 3.g8=Q b1=Q is the typical start of the game - then strategies vary. I have played 3.g8=N before as White sometimes.
