There are chess variants where pieces can promote to a second King. But then they call it a Prince.

See Chu Shogi where a Drunk Elephant promotes to Prince.

In the 4 player chess menu, you can click on custom variant and choose 2 player chess where a pawn can promote to a king. I have tried this before, but it takes forever to get an opponent
