Black starts with a regular chess set, and White has a knight as a royal piece, with a non-royal Kings(=Mann) instead of knights.

Promotion is possible with Queen, Rook, Bishop, Mann(=Non-royal King) or Knight for both White and Black, but they are not royal pieces.
