Now, all the latest converter applets are included in the XQ tools 5 in 1 package , available from Downloads > Database Programs. For those who have downloaded older versions, please discard them and use the most upgraded versions.
A reminder to XQ enthusiasts
Do I understand correctly that #2 and #3 are aimed at copy-pasting the WXF format as given in the example below? The 01xq.com website seems to have a viewer applet that indeedonly shows this format. But the wxf.org website employs the more common viewer that has an 'export' button where you can obtain the UBB format.
The latter can be pasted directly into WinBoard/XBoard. Would there be any advantage in also making WinBoard parse the WXF format directly?

The recent spates of XQ toolkits ( upgrades and all ) may have caused some confusion to you. Here is a reminder of how to put things in more order.
Please use this checklist to find out if you have the necessary toolkits ( all available from Downloads > Database Programs ) :
1. Qianhong Xiangqi ( the game browser around which all the toolkits are designed. )
2. QH Toolkit 2.0
3. WXF to Qianhong Toolkit 2.0
4. XQMassInput _ QH 4.0
5. UBB_Chiweb Tool
#1 is the very pre-requisite.
#2 and #3 are targeted at two equally rich sources of games in English . ( www.01xq.com and www.wxf.org )
#4 is mainly concerned with sources where copy and paste is not possible , some websites and all books.
#5 is for more ambitious enthusiasts who would like to get their hands on Xiangqi websites in Chinese.
