Bughouse

I think  there should be bughouse on chess.com.

That has been mentioned before... I think it would pretty much be the coolest thing ever, but untill V3 comes out, it's a pipe dream.

A long time ago chess.com said they were gonna implement bughouse into live chess, but I guess it's not on the top of their priority list. It'll probably happen eventually, hopefully.

Yeah I thought I heard that too. They also claimed live 960.

What is bughouse????

Bughouse is the nickname for Siamese chess, a sort of team chess played with two boards facing opposite direction.  White and black are neighbors and also teammates; if one side captures a piece of the opposite color, he hands it to his buddy and that person can then deploy it on the other board as part of his own force.  So it lends itself to bizarre sacrifices, impossible pawn arrays, myriads of extra queens on the board, and so forth.  Still a delightful engagement no matter how you look at it though.
