You can spend up to 3 days/move. It is fine.

With the guard being worth 3 points and the knight being worth 3 points I do not see any way to win material.

Thanks, this is the first time I've used this setup, although I got the idea to use the witch to castle this way without moving the queen in another game. I think it is one of the more simpler ways to make the witch useful in the opening. It can otherwise be very hard to know what is the best square for it, which is why I have tended to develop the witch almost last in some of my other games (with some games ending before I moved it).

You are fine. After 3 days I could have given you a timeout warning where you have 24 hours left to make a move. I have not given you any timeout warning, so you have nothing to fear.
22...Re2
Oh, I'm losing now, for sure.
23.Qxe2
I guess that's what I get for challenging the world champion after just one game...
Yeah, I think you needed to prevent Re2 with 22.We3, although you would still be under pressure and behind in development. Honestly I think you have played fairly well and I think this is a game I can be proud of (as long as I don't screw up). The way I have been playing is like following a textbook about what you should do. Fight for the center, get castled, develop all of your pieces and constantly improve the position of your worst placed piece. Rooks belong on the open files and then the 7th rank.
It may look like I have won by only making simple moves, but making simple moves is hard. This is definitely the hardest game I have played this far. I think you are a fairly strong player, you just happened to be on the opposite side when I play an exceptionally good game.

Thank you. This is my best game so far (considering I played only 2 games, including this
). I did think about playing We3, but I thought giving a witch for a rook wasn't a good trade.
I think I should probably resign, but if it's okay with you, I want to see how a rook and a guard can fare against a queen.
24.Kxe2
If the colors were reversed, I would not resign either. Also, it almost sounds like you managed to predict my next move
24...Gxb4
Well, I knew you would go for the knight. At this point, I think knight scores more than the guard.
25.axb4
I'm not too sure about that if we consider how badly placed your knight is if I would play a5 and you retreat to a2. It would take many moves for your knight to get active, while my guard is already well placed. Anyway, the main point with this exchange is simplification and to get a fork and not about which piece is worth slightly more than the other.

Oh, I give up. Once the c2 pawn goes, all the other will get captured quite quickly.
I loved this game.
ok, gg.
I intended to play the line 26.Gh3 Qxc2 27.Rd1 Qxb2 28.Rxd6 Qxb4 29.Rxf6 a5 which technically only wins 1 pawn, but my passed a- and b-pawns should be able to win the game (My a-pawn might even be enough by itself). Loosing my d6 and f6 pawns would not be a big deal since it does not directly give white any passed pawns. I would have played on a bit if I were white, but if you did not see Rd1 which is a key move to try for counterplay, then I totally understand the resignation. Even if you found it I don't think the end result would change though, so I would not blame anyone from resigning, just saying I would play a few more moves if I were white.
I also really like this game
Oh, I'm so sorry. I thought it was still your move.
