In the following position

i am not allowed to castle.

It´s curious because my opponent has already done it.

This is the second game where i have this problem, on the other game it made no big diference but, this time, castling was very handy...

Drag the king to h1.

I had already tried that and it didn´t work, after your suggestion i tried again a minute ago and finally it worked...it´s a tricky thing! Thx!

Use the analysis board...

I did. I figured it out. I have to drag the king to the a1 rook in order for it to work.

I too just started my first chess960 game here and I start with the king already at g8. So how do I do the castle moves? (I know the rules, just need to know where to drag it on the board to get the move done).

In all areas of this website (Live, Analysis, Online Standard, and Online 960), you can castle by dragging the king onto the rook that you want to castle with.

matthewphoenix

yeah you need to physically drop it ONTO the rook you want to castle with... and since you're a 1400+ rank... I assume you understand that the rook cannot have moved prior to it being castled.

Yes it works fine doing that.
