I have "essential tremors" and have lost many games where I was in an even or winning position due to mouse slips. I did not know that "take backs" were even an option in rated games. I play with a physical board in front of me and after I make my move on the physical board I copy it on the screen with the mouse. Sometimes I slip and it is very irritating but I have accepted that mouse slips are just part of the internet chess game.

When I play unrated 60/30 Fischer Random (960) chess on Lichess.org with my chess partner of 50 years take backs are an option and we use it.

This is one reason I like my E-Board. I only have to move the piece on the board and don't need to use the mouse (assuming there isn't a time scramble at the end).

Hi Fhunfi,

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the tournaments you run. The long time controls, clear communication, and flexible scheduling make your events truly stand out. It’s rare to find a club that offers both structure and convenience — especially for players with busy lives.

Being part of your club has helped me stay engaged with chess in a way that actually fits my schedule, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed the experience.

Thank you for all the effort you put into making this possible.

Best regards,
@chekmet2

We are currently playing a competition 45+45. And it is so nostalgic like in the old days. "90m+30s" chess club is a great place for classic rapid players.

I wanted to thank player @fhunfi for making all of this possible with his work.

Thank you again.

I also decided to share my positive experience with the Chess.com 90+30 club and its arbiter Chien (@fhunfi).

This club is an excellent place for everyone who enjoys classical chess and wants to play serious games against human opponents. You can find time controls such as 90+30, 60+30, and 45+45.

The club is very active, the players are serious, and the overall playing experience is highly enjoyable. Arbiter Chien is extremely organized, dedicated, and friendly. He makes sure everything runs smoothly and puts a lot of effort into the organization, which I deeply appreciate.

I strongly recommend this club to anyone looking for a reliable and well-managed community for standard chess games.
