Yeah, a very short one indeed. I think you had to play 11...CAd6 which allows 12.Jxg7 CAxg7 13.Qg2 when I have some pressure (maybe decisive if played correctly, not sure) and your Crippled Amazons are not coordinated. This said 10...Jg7 might not have been a good move (10...CAc6 was natural). The checkmate was a bit cute though, not everyday you get to do a smoothered mate.
Wow, you guys finished a game in the same time that I've waited for some people to play one move.
And the final details for rules were finished by post #10, and the game finished by post #31 (3:1 ratio).
I know you guys are both good players so I take this to be a consequence of the game, and not blunders. Good work on the game design, and on the game.![]()
Well, everyone of all rating levels make blunders and evert missed a mate in 1. It was just a consequence of the game though and not some other reason like misinterpretations of the rules.
Even though the game was short I must say that these pieces were fun to play with though. Very well designed.
I would have wanted to see it work in the end game - they can mate a lone King together without help.
