I haven't thought about that piece specifically. Even after inventing a piece it takes so many games to learn about it's value and how best to play it. But one of those pieces could be good to try!
@HorribleTomato, about your last move, the hawk cannot jump to (-3,12). Do you mean H(-2,12)? The hawk jumps like this:
