To give you an idea... it's currently -5, feels like -15 with the wind chill, it's been snowing constantly since I got up at 8.30 (4 hours ago), the winds are approaching gale force, and this is the calm before the storm. We're about to have an Atlantic cyclonic storm slam into the brutal anticyclonic Arctic air mass currently giving us Russian weather (and drawing warm air to the North pole, no less... it's something like 20 degrees warmer in the Arctic than it is here).
Today is officially the first day of spring, winter is over. Hmm...

For a second I was like "um my bishop can take the hawk" then I realised my king is blocking.

Not sure if it's the same storm system, but it's crazy windy right now. I heard some tree branches cracking, and lights have flickered (northeast U.S.)

It's dumped half a metre of snow in places outside, I haven't seen it like this in a long time.
