Ry, please don't post time warnings in games you're not involved in. Anyone can remind me I need to move, but I'll only accept a time warning off my opponent or the moderator.
I'm busy today, and I need to start analysing. I will move tomorrow.
By the way, I won't post a reminder for you now until 5 days have passed. I would rather have a high quality game than have either of us rushed into moving due to how busy we are. This is for the title, after all.
On a related note, I have two chess ambitions to achieve before I'm 40 (next Feb)... to be rated 2000, and to be a champion at either infinite or bulldog. Martin has crushed me in bulldog, so that's not happening. I am currently at an all-time high of 1980 though, so I'm optimistic on that front. I think beating Martin will have to be a goal for by the time I'm 50.
You already did, so well done! Although your daily rating is only 1745, which is the most comparable rating to mine. My blitz rating is in the 1700s though, so you'd likely crush me in a ten minute game.

Finally somebody who cares about the quality of games as much as I do! I don't like calling time warnings either.
I'm a little bit too lazy I guess. As you know, I like my hawks to be involved so I develop them first, then it's a case of developing other pieces. You haven't taken a lunge for the centre, only two pawn moves and both moved one, so I haven't felt the need to counter.
I think it's a solid opening so far from us both, this looks even to me. You have slightly more control of the centre, while I have the extra piece developed. Neither of us appear to have any obvious vulnerabilities, although I do note your recently moved hawk seems to be positioned for defence rather than attack. An interesting move that I should probably try to understand!
