Hi McGoohan, I know our position is very precarious, and we've been trying to escape for several moves. But I think your move is not allowed. A griffon is "bishop + knight + hawk". None of those pieces can move one square to the side.

Hi vickalan, you're right. But because of this I now have another question: What about the touch-move rule in this case? Must I move the Griffon now?
Hi McGoohan, I'm fine without the touch rule. Typos (if legal) count, but if illegal, just declare a new move (any piece).

I've lost track of how many players are active on each side.
For black, it's just me and Mayapira.
For white, it's McGoohan and Zied (Musketeer), but Zied is on a break while he travels. MrHappysmile is also on White, but I don't think he is active. So you get your choice what side you would like to join.
(btw, when 2 or more players, moves should be declared after at least 1.5 days to allow time for members to communicate.)

McGoohan and Team White: I believe you have a forced mate. We can delay it by blocking White's queen with our Falcon, but we would just lose our Falcon. We will play a move anyway. (The blue lines help show the location of White's queen). Our move is:

OK, I still have steelers1863 with team Black, and now smurfisme has joined Black also.
Funny though, I think Black is losing. We have to wait for White's move, then see what our options are.
Dariuscmk will also join a team, but might wait till the next game (unless black survives and game continues).
I think we only have two moves, R(f12) or K(g10). Let me just wait one day to see if Mayapira, Steelers1863, or Smurfisme send me any messages for our best play.
Dariuscmk: Not sure how long this game will last but will you be on team White? (they have 3, and black has 4).
