Crazy 960 position

I just had a 960 that started with the pieces in a completely crazy set up. Is this normal?

I guess once in ever 960 games, the pieces will start like that. But I thought the whole point of 960 was to not start with that position? Was it a bug, or does this just happen sometimes?

I was so shocked I even forgot my opening theory and just played random moves  haha.

Funnily enough, one of the 960 positions in Fischerrandom happens to be the setup for vanilla chess. So it is normal, you're just as likely to get that position as you would any of the other 959 positions.

Thanks Ebinola. Confused the bejesus out of me though. Maybe they should make it chess 959 instead.
