In a standard chess game, we castle very often, almost in every game. But I've been playing chess 960 for a while now and have never castled. Maybe a few reasons: I forget to castle because it is too luck-based on where the rook and king is, my pawns aren't there anymore, I've moved my rook out (forward) already. But I'm a pretty new player so my reasons may just be because I'm new.
Do you castle? how often? (20%, 50%, etc of your games).
Does it matter much king-side vs queen-side?
Any tips regarding chess 960 based on my lack of caslting? How to make it advantageous?
