Interesting Chess Varient: Maharajah and the Sepoys
Stumbled across this chess varient. Anyone heard of Maharajah and the Sepoys?

I have updated the wikipedia contents putting a forced win to this game. So all in all it's an uninteresting game with the current rules.
A challenge:
Can anyone find a shorter sequence of moves that give a forced mate for black than that given there? With one conditional as it is there, or even better with no conditionals at all.
Also any suggestions of how this game can by modified(slightly, since complicated rules usually do the game uninteresting) to be balanced?
I tried to put two Maharajah's for white, but still i saw that black wins easily and it's still a very unbalanced game.
When i gave 3 Maharajah's to white, then it was him that was winning easily.
I then tried to give the Maharajah a camel move but it had a forced mate in 5 if i recall correctly. So? Any ideas?
