Hey everyone, so I have a brother that is in 10th grade. He doesn't play chess much, but he's alright. He is around a 1400 level on online chess.
I always crush him when I play him at home. The weird thing is, however, that he is really good at Chess960!!!
His record against me in Chess960 is 8-10-2, which is really good for him...
I wondering why he is so much better, the only difference is that you don't need to study openings, but his tactics aren't too good either. He signed up immediatly for chess.com to play 960, but he hasn't started any games yet.
Can you explain to me why, or is it just a weird talent...
Thanks,
Suvel
