less racist chess

I've invented a new variant: White can only move on white squares, and black can only move on black squares. 

LOL! This is the TOTAL racist chess.

For Christ's Sake - Chess is not a racist game.  Morons that think chess is for White boys because White goes first must think then that Go is for Black guys because Black goes first!

Get real, idiots!  Black and White are easy to distinguish, don't hurt the eyes like purple or fusha (spelling?) does.  When the rules came about, someobdy had to go first.

And also, get a hint.  People are not Black and White.  They are Negro and Caucasian, to go along with Asian, Indian, Native American, Hispanic, etc.  We are not White or Black just like how Native Americans are not "red" - contrary to what the moron owner of the Washington football team thinks!

The OP's solution doesn't really fix the problem, either, since it's clear that the "black" army really consists of a bunch of formerly white guys who got sunburnt. 

They had to choose someone to move first, right? If black moved first, we could just as easily say that that is racist against white people.

Both sides could play the same colour and each player would have to remember which pieces were their own. Moving the opponents piece = immediate forfeit. But to play with white or black pieces? Maybe gray. Thinking about it I have seen all kinds of weird and wonderful chess sets but very few standard sets with weird colours eg. red vs yellow.
