How great would a variant be if it involved putting more than one piece on a square?
I noticed in one Tactic black was checkmated because his King could not move on the same square as a Castle.
That is unrealistic. In the real world, the King could just hide in the Castle and be safe.
In this variant, we could move same color pieces onto the same square.
Then the game could end if the Rook is captured with the King on the same square.
I think this would tend to be good for the King. Maybe it would be more of a theoretical draw than normal chess.
It might be interesting, more than great?
Also I do not know what to call it yet. Chezz maybe
