Interesting idea, but it has a couple of flaws that should be resolved, e.g. can black move its b8 knight and can white move its b1 knight? Additionally, the other knight can then only move once. Also, moving pawns more than once seems to be against the rules?
Maybe you should limit this great idea just to specific pieces i.e. king, queen and the rooks.
Knights clog up the rooks, and they cannot move - correct. Rooks will have to get out via a7-a5-Ra8-Ra6.
Pawns can move both squares on their first move and then will have to start capturing.
I want to try a game with that variant against you robert:P
