Reserve chess

Reserve chess is a variant of chess that has all 32 pieces and pawns active. When you capture a piece, the captured piece changes sides. The piece may be placed onto a square that is legal and the piece cannot check the opponent's King.

Example:

In the King's Gambit Accepted ,black has 1 pawn after capturing. he/she can place a black pawn  anywhere but d2.

This will put the King in check.

then d2-d4

Black places his new pawn (this is just an example: I put it on e3 for a good advantage but you can put it anywhere.)

This makes each piece worth double.Have fun! Oh,and you need 2 sets.

How is this different from Crazyhouse?

is this like bughouse for two players?

Bughouse for 2 players is called Crazyhouse.

Bughouse is slang for a mental asylum.
