Hmm see any resemblance? I don’t know, but they are on the same topic, and mine was posted before, so...you know....
There was a person on Twitch who was live streaming his chess progress from learning the game and improving and commenting. Sorry I cannot remember his name. He was young and picked up the game very quick, playing blitz games. I think he had a 1300+ rating after only a few months of playing. You MUST be entertaining and if you are going to do it, you must dedicate a couple of hours a day every day at the same time of day and be prepared to suck over and over again as you learn and improve. I personally don't know how anybody can talk and play at the same time but go for it and have fun. ![]()
Rating is irrelevant. You need to think about what YOU would find entertaining to watch. Then try to do that. I honestly think its entertaining to watch players make illegal moves in OTB tournaments. I would watch someone who does that. (I don't know if you want to take my advice, though, because I've never streamed or posted a video)

See any resemblance! LoL
You both stole my topic!
Hello everybody!
In your opinion, from which rating a player can start streaming his or her games?
Do you watch chess streamings in order to learn/improve your game or just to have fun? I ask these questions because I have seen a couple of GMs with a poor audience and, on the other hand, some streamers with low rating but with a decent amount of followers.
