Back when I was a young lad we finally got a TV set of our own and I became an addict ( to the TV set  lol ). Yup back in the mid-1960s when I was in my early teens my academic career went downhill because I just had to watch TV. And now we have Chess TV !!! Yes indeed we now have Chessgames on TV, what could be better ???

Well back when I still had Cable TV ( in the mid-1990s ) I would watch the odd Golf match and people would often ask how I could watch that sport on television. So a good question might be which is more fun to watch on TV: Golf or Chess ?

i'm pretty sure you know where i stand there, baddy.

Thanks for the post AlCzevik. Yes I must admit that I was just making a little joke considering your background in Golf  lol. Back when I did have Cable TV my favourite entertainment was the Baseball games. Yup 1992 & 1993 were just great for Blue-Jays fans ( needless to say we don't even want to mention 1994 ).

I see that we are now often getting a look at what is happening on Chess TV as soon as we sign onto the site. Earlier today they had close to 8,000 viewers online, not bad.

Of course here on the TV feed it depends on who is hosting the broadcasts. Needless to say different hosts have different styles.

There are tons of stations, but apparently a finite amount of quality programming to be had in the universe.

---   Well I'm still going to go with the theory that some hosts make Chess-TV more interesting than others.
