POG Champs broadcast - colorful language

If there's a better place for this feedback, please point me in the right direction.

I've been watching the pogchamps 3 live youtube broadcasts with my family the last few nights.  I love the association with youtubers, as it's gotten my teen daughter interested in learning and playing chess - she knows and follows several of the personalities that are playing - and it's restored my own interest in the game.  We've been watching together in the living room on the big tv, and for the most part it's been a great experience.

But last night, I had to turn off the stream because I just couldn't handle the foul language while watching with my wife and children.  The GMs and players are great while games are playing - it's laid back and friendly.  I expect to hear the occasional ", or "dammit".

But between rounds, the stream would switch from the GMs/commentators to a live stream of Ludwig - and his constant stream of pointless profanity.  After listening to his casual, constant, conversational *****" over there for a few minutes, I had to click out.

Swearing happens - I get that.

It's great that you're trying to draw in a younger crowd, and make chess more casual and less stuffy in the process.  And if Ludwing want to trashtalk his way through his own twitch livestreams, that's his problem.  I don't need to watch that, and won't follow/subscribe/whatever his nonsense.  But when you're rebroadcasting that ******* on your own livestream coverage of a legitimate competition - you HAVE to monitor the filth coming out of his mouth, and show him offstage when it gets out of hand.

It's not a legitimate chess competition.  They were all invited for their ability to attract mountains of eyeballs.  Most of them know little about the game.

Chess.com is pretty puritanical overall. Chat filters and abuse reports have kept a lot of that stuff off chess.com.

But I don't think they can fight the battle alone.  Quoting your post would probably lead to a quick muting.
