Hello. I’ve been playing 30 mins single random chess. Instead, I’d like to make chess friends with people in my area. How do I go about it please?

Hello. I just followed the instructions to sign up for a premium membership. One week free trial. (I reinstalled my chess.com app as well). The Help instructions says that there should be a Club tab. There is no club tab on my chess app. Please help.
