Chess Ladder software

Hi, we are planning to start a ladder in our club. In the ladder, you can challenge anyone up to a couple of slots above you. If you win, you take their place in the ladder, and they drop back one slot.

Has anyone got any recommendations for software or a web app that can be used to administer it?

Well jazzdub, what did you end up going with? Our high school club is beginning soon and we're looking to do the same thing.

Unfortunately, nothing usable turned up. I checked some ladder programmes but they all had their problems and were not really viable. So now we're going to build a ladder page on our member website, and I'll manage it from there, but fairly manual in terms of challenges and updates.

Thanks for the info. We did a ladder last year, manually, it took work. I do own SwissSys, I see it has a ladder function, I may try it this year. If so, I'll report back in.
