High School Chess Match

We sadly do not get to compete in person over the board this year. We normally run 5 boards against 5 boards with best playing 1st board worst playing 5th board. Our schedule has the away team playing boards 1,3,5 as white and the home team playing 2,4 as black. We normally go G45 D5 time clocks.  I have experimented with the club tournament feature and I was wondering if there was any way to purposefully match players up against each other in a 5 board setting. Are there any tutorials or features to help with this so our district can play our season against other high school teams online? (We usually have around 20 schools competing in person.) (We also have 8 separate matches against 8 separate teams with one match a week usually.) Looking for any ideas or resources.

Yeah we are going online but the club setups and features are really not designed to support us well.

Would you be interested in joining the Student Led Chess Association? We help to bring chess clubs together for tournaments, scrimmages if you wish, and other charity tournaments. Depending where you are we may already have a league in your area, or will establish one in the future. This can be a great way for you to coordinate with other schools and organize such tournaments and expansion. We can also help you with such pairings at our tournaments, whether it be online or in person. This can allow us to host it and pair for the schools, allowing you to play and not worry about such issues with tournaments.

Please let me know if you want our help. You can reach out to me at at gabriel@studentledca.org or on this post if you wish.
