Story of an Unplayed Game

Hi dear Chess.Com members.

I regularly organise tournaments for my team and recently I encountered the following curious situation. A member of my team was participating in one of the tournaments and had won the following game with Black because his opponent did not make any moves.

However, two weeks after that game, Chess.Com closed his account arguing a violation of the Fair Play rules. Surprisingly the result of the game completely changed giving the point to the player with White even though there was no violation of the rules in that game. You can see the table of results in the following link:

Do you think that Chess.Com's decision is correct?

Thanks for reading and for your comments and opinions.

Yes, it's a mistake.

But your teammate 2 points are accepted and you can see it in total score 3-4 in favour of your team.

Hi Maximus_brother. Please note that my team is Nairobi Chess Club. On the first board, both points were assigned to our opponents, despite in one of those games our opponent (with White) didn't play any move.

Hi bro!

I didn't notice one thing.

Your teammate, his profile is closed.

It means he is suspected in cheating, bad comments and so on.

And because of this he automatically loses all his games.

He broke the rules and that's it!
