That's a good idea 

That is how I run my club.

You will probably just annoy lots of people with such behaviour. I recommend recruiting new members with daily tournaments, in the description of which you promote your club. This way your club will grow slowly but steadily instead of bursting after a short bloat.

You don't own the clubs, your members do. You just work for them.
