Promote to King is recruiting at least two vote chess captains. Each vote chess captain will be handling at least two matches, or more if willing and capable. Coordinator ranks will be awarded to fulfill the tasks.

Candidated should be over 15, have been registered on Chess.com for at least a year, and have a good knowledge and experience about vote chess mechanisms. Also, they should have good theorical chess knowledge and explanation capabilities.

Please send me a private message if you are interested.

Why the age rule? That makes it so a lot of very capable people not be able to do it. This is a Chess website, so I think under 15 is fine. I'm not saying I want to, on the contrary I actually don't. And also most people on the online side of Chess.com that have been on Chess.com for a year will prolly have either higher rank on other clubs, no clue how to run stuff like that or not be interested.

I think I'm allowed to put the conditions I want in my club and I don't believe I have to justify myself. If someone younger believe they have something to bring I'm open for discussion.

To be clear, I worked with very talented young people and I still have some admins of young age. I normally give responsabilities based on knowledge of people I play alongside, or against. But this is a public post and there's many people around who are not serious about chess but would beg for any coordinator or admin rank in a club.

In general, it requires some measure of diplomacy to be a vote chess captain (or to lead any group). Younger people in general lack experience in diplomacy (there are always exceptions, especially among children who learn diplomacy by getting their siblings to stop arguing). I think a 15 year old age rule is a reasonable way to increase the chances that a VC captain will have some diplomatic ability.
