I was thinking this is a good idea after seeing this thread. There are some chess playing comedians on the West Coast that I heard were experimenting with shorter time control vote chess matches. We must consider the team's ability to discuss the move in the given time frame, control. I once heard a GM burned a full hour from the clock analysing a single move. Not that I am a chess master or anything.

For those of you that don't know ... speed vote chess is vote chess at 10 minutes per move.
I am looking to set this up for next weekend - Saturday or Sunday - Around 1600 GMT
Your club WILL be vetted to see if you can handle the demands of SVC and we do expect it to last several hours.
I don't want no teams to use any kind of engine analysis during the game as that is still against site rules.
