Thoughts on the Club Chat feature?

I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the club chat. Does anyone frequently use it?

Never once in my life

You don`t get notifications so you don`t know if someone is talking to you

That's the funny situation...

The people who know clubs well know that (like Matthew said) they don't give you notification and it's not an active place. Going there, you'll (almost) never find someone to 'chat' with so it's kind of pointless.

As for the other people, they tend to get frustrated when notes are used for chatting when there is a chat feature that should be used instead. Some get annoyed when a conversation is running that keeps giving them more notifications. These same people don't ever seem to understand that the chat feature is also very new. It came out in 2021 while notes were the only club chatting system other than forums.

Overall I think Chat in clubs is way to bruh.

Perhaps it would be better if it notified you if there is activity there.

But then people will again be mad at notifications.

But you can unfollow the chat (most likely) if you don`t want notifications from it.

I guess it could be kind of like the notifications for tournaments. If there are people int he chat it tells you when you are there, otherwise the notification goes away.

chat is better than notes in my opinion, but people use notes more often...

for big clubs sometimes i would reccomend making chat the default

or the only one

which helps to eliminate note spam
