🟢 We Need to End Spam — And That Starts Now

Sort:

Hey everyone,

Some of you might know me as the creator of one of the infections, THE END IS NEAR.
But what started as a game turned into something I didn’t expect: it’s now considered spam by Chess.com’s support bot, Chessica.

That means accounts could actually be flagged or banned just for playing along.
I didn’t want to be part of something that gets people in trouble — so I’m flipping the script.

❗What’s Happening
Chain bios like “DM me the word frog for a surprise” are being flagged as spam
Many players don’t know — they think it’s just a joke
We’re starting a movement to clean it up before Chess.com has to

⏳ Everyone Has 2 Weeks (Starting June 5)
We’re not here to report right away.
We’re giving everyone a chance to:

Remove infection-related bios or statuses
Warn their friends kindly
Help protect the community
On June 19, we begin reporting — but only if someone has been warned and chooses to ignore it.

🛡️ Join the Cleanup Team
We’ve started a club for this movement:

Our mission is simple:

Warn before reporting. Clean up the spam. Protect accounts.
If you want to help, join us. Ask questions. Spread truth — not chains.

Let’s end this the right way.
