I think the best chess clubs are the ones whose members are linked by a connection to one of the 50 states. Team Iowa is the one I belong to; my connection is I live in Iowa. Some Team Iowa players no longer live in the state. If you have an Iowa connection I hope you will join Team Iowa. Each year we play matches with the other state-linked teams. That helps to build or re-build our support for each other as a team. I hope more chess.com players will seek out and join a team named after their state & then compete in the yearly matches between the state teams. If your state doesn't have a team this would be your chance to create a chess team you are pretty assured your members will enjoy. The best chess.com team for each of us is the one we are willing to join & support.
