800 live, 1223 online???

I'm just wondering, what's wrong with me. I have about 800-900 score on live, I got defeated by a 900ish player, but on correspondence chess I have 1223, and I can focus so much easier.

On live however, I can only win against ultra noobs, I can't focus even a little bit, but on correspondence I'm capable of thinking of plans that pin down the queen in 3-4 moves ahead of this one. What's going on Frown

I think that's totally normal.  My live chess score is always about 200 pionts worse than correspondance

The number one reason is probably the time limit. It messes me up as well; I've got a ~1400 online rating, and a ~1000 rating in all live chess types. It seems to me that whenever I am playing live, as opposed to OTB, I always seem tempted to rush on live chess. I imagine that there is some psychological factor involved, but I don't know...

Yes the time bothers me, everyone plays worst with it, and yet they put short time. I'm allways worried I'll suffer later on due to the time limit. Foot in mouth
