A chess community member named WhiteEagle has a problem. He thinks he might be losing his eyesight, or at the very least on a downward spiral leading to the same conclusion. He brought this to our attention in his blog by asking for our prayers, not our sympathy. He sounds like a nice, promising 23 year old man who deserves both of these things. I know there is nothing we can do to, but I was thinking it might help bolster his spirits and his courage if everyone drops by his blog and and offers him some words of encouragement.
