A sore loser reported me! for no reason :(

Rest assured, you won't lose your account on some random accusation by this guy.
Something like that happened to me recently. I paused playing chess for some years and only came back recently. So I've lost a game to some guy and in the rematch I played much better because I got into it again, revived my previous knowledge of chess. He accused me of using an engine because of this improvement in my second game.
I just laughed and took it as a compliment to my game play.
I don't mean to out anybody or spread negativity. This has never been me. I always try to seek out positive aspects no matter what the situation is. Up until today I had a wonderful experience with chess.com community. People are always so helping. One guy @KeSetoKaiba (with much more experience & 2000+ rapid rating) went as far to play some unrated matches with me so that he could analyze my games and give me some tips. It meant a great deal to me. Shout out to this !!!!
& then there's this guy, who reported my account right away without giving it a second thought just because he thought I was using some kind of engine. Which I don't even know how I can use. I will not mention this guy's profile, but this individual seriously offended me. & if I lose my account/subscription to this sore loser, it would be really unfair
You can always report him. It's more likely that he, rather than you, will get sanctioned since he is technically verbally abusive by randomly accusing others.
It's likely that he did not actually report you, but you can still report him.

He accused me of using an engine because of this improvement in my second game.

That's the way one should react to anything like that

I'm sorry man, but no need to worry about your acc being closed. Chess.co would only close your account if you were actually cheating

You just have to ignore them. You're feeding their rage, and that is what they want. Their report will do nothing. Chess.com actually has a system where if you've wrongly reported a large number of people, they will take your future reports less seriously. So if he's done this to a large number of people in the past (which he probably has), Chess.com might not even look at his report. You have nothing to worry about. I'm glad you're getting into this community and I hope you continue to do so.

If I'm wrong, then the rule only applies to the bad sport/good sport button. But you're still not in any trouble

That's nice

“I don't mean to out anybody or spread negativity” - OP (sirmadalot) …. Let the Doublespeak begin !
misleads
distorts reality
Pretends to communicate
makes the bad seem good
avoids or shifts responsibility
makes the negative appear positive
creates a false verbal map of the world
limits, conceals, corrupts, and prevents thought
makes the unpleasant appear attractive or tolerable
creates incongruity between reality and what is said or not said
Geez - the obvious hypocrisy insults any intelligence.

Ha don't worry about it I've been accused multiple times by salty opponents (mostly in bullet/blitz lol)

But I spread Fertilizer

I am sorry about what you had to go through . All of us at some point or the other , do have to deal with such negative encounters . That being said , if you haven't cheated there's nothing to worry about . And of such a thing happens again in future , don't take it personally. Just enjoy your opponent being a sore loser .
Side Note : The poster on #17 is a well known troll , and am sure anyone who's spend a good amount of time on this site can relate . So take their words with a grain of salt .
