About the Banned trolls; is this a change in moderation?

A Lot of threads about How Things are fine and even good with several trolls living large in only our memory.... and I could have I suppose posted to any of them.

OTOH- there's been a lot of projecting I think in the way some people feel, depending on where you stand with the Troll game.

the Real question lies with the mod/admin staff  and though they have said a bit; I would like to hear it for myself.

Have You and Do you Intend to make a clear difference in the way that you moderate?

I've noticed that quite a few threads about some of this have uexpectantly  been locked or redwritten. so it FEELS that you really ARE making a change- even if it is a short lived Course correction in the way that the forums are run?

Equally interesting is whether several trolls will continue to troll the way that have done in the past- and keep at the mind games that got three prominent accounts Banned (not muted).   but honestly, I don't think I trust the trolls to give me a strait scoop as , THAT is the point in recent times of their mind game. 

we will know in time if you chicken out, get detoured, or alter your game.

After like three different threads called "this site..." this feels like the very change we were pleading for.

thus. the danger of projections.  just because it feels like christmas and we see the gifts under the tree- should we pinch ourselves to see if we are dreaming?  Or not....

Please! Bring them back! Their new replacements are just poop.

But I feel the moderation has changed. I'll PM you what a few people hypothesize to be the problem...

And besides, having them back is fun, I liked telling 2Q that his topics were in the wrong section and especially in his "Chess.com recognise me as a future world champion" (LOL, I'm sure he won his grade 3 spelling bee, at least make it through any grammar test.), I enjoyed saying that that was just erik, and that I'm sure he didn't mean it.

the real High is the thought that Actually Someone IS in charge and would be utterly willing to stop blatant abuse instead of just meek mutes after mute.

but again - projection.  there is what you Would to see and.... reality

even stuff like #7 is a victory. yes obnoxious gloaty behavior.  but off the site in hours.

for those that haven't noticed GPawn apparently decided that to end his account.  obviously He was not Optimistic that they changes are what he was looking for ....

GodsPawn actually wanted those changes?

I would say that GP/Diakona will NOT be back anytime soon.  he was pretty frustrated with percieved uneven moderation.

some might Even question Why he left today?  but I think. even on a good day- all it means is that you really can't Eastily know there will be moderation and he didn't like that.

speaking of THAT.

some Say that the best way to make a Group behave is to punish occasionally with strong consequences.  this motivates people to not try to stay on the Edge of the rules- since the rules are not strictly and constantly enforced.

I have a sense as well that even the moderators aren't quite sure yet where the lines will be.  perhaps Admin are clarifying what they want the forums to  be like. idk.

I don't want to cause TOO many waves

so many other threads are locked down.  I don't want that....

Actually, when you get banned 2q1c, you can't just make another account and come back.

TwoQueens_OneCup was the same name intended to be of 2Q1C. I PMd him and he told me that. I don't know why you use the same things as he does.
