Stop using an engine then.
Accused of using engine!

Lol. I'm really not sad enough to buy chess software. Either I improve or I don't. I find blitz and watching the top games especially has really improved my game.

What a strange accusation! if you were cheating with an engine, your rating would be much higher than it is.

The game ended on June 8. How could you blunder a knight to a SUPER obvious pawn when you find harder moves such as Be1(attacking f2) ? And the rematch was, well, an easy win.

True. But I have played a 1200 cheater/sandbagger(they cheat and sandbag)

Sorry indetention, I'm not sure if you're on my side or not. In the second game you give as an example against Oskar, you're right, but my biggest blunder was getting rid of his knight to free up my attack with the queen, not having considered that he had another knight to take its place. I was hoping he would take with the pawn. That was a real d'oh moment for me and completely lost me the game. My later move with the knight was my only defence. In hindsight, I should have moved my queen to a6 instead of a7 to prevent mate. As for move Be1, well, yes, I wanted to attack the king with my rook so I needed some back up. I've improved after playing blitz, that's all. I haven't played a lot of turn-based chess for some time, and have definitely improved since playing blitz, which is why people get all crybaby they get beaten by a lower ranked player. I'm not even sad enough to have chess software on my computer. I enjoy playing the game, that's all. I said to this guy, how could I play moves so fast if I was using an engine? Know what he said? That's easy. I know how to do it. Guess he uses an engine all the time then huh? Must really increase his enjoyment of online games if he cheats...

Get over it and yourself.
Wow, I used to enjoy using the forums in chess.com's early days. What an unfriendly place it's become.

Dude you here crying and whining about something that is just simply a part of how things are today.
You think you the only one that has had to deal with this?
Ninja please.
Fair enough :)

I'm on you're side. Just saying that. But I also blunder knights and rooks and I sometimes find brilliant moves too. EDIT: what? he said that?

You mean that game?

Black can safely take the pawn (11...Qxe4) when he is a at least equal- so if you were using an engine, it was surely malfunctioning.
Thanks pfren. Yes, I was fully expecting him to take the pawn. I nearly died when he accused me of cheating. Actually, my strategy was very basic. My real plan was to somehow lure him into making me move my knight to Nb2 and then to Nc5 to attack with my queen. Real mastermind stuff. Not. :))

Ok, ok, fair enough, I'm overreacting to some silly comment, probably made by a kid. Just don't like being called a cheat and he was so certain about it too... Ridiculous. The crazy thing is, he could have defended those moves no problem. Even if I take his rook with the pawn and promote to a queen, he just takes with his queen... I think the first thing I'll do from now on (if I continue playing turn-based chess) is to disable the chat... :)

rdecredico is right. It's even happened to me, on a live game. At first I was offended, but then took it as a compliment. There will always be sore losers.

You're right. I'm over it now. Some games you play well, some you play crap. If people automatically assume you're cheating when you play well, then tough on them. Definitely a compliment!
Manners among some blitz and bullet players seem to be very bad judging by what gets reported on these forums from time to time.
Children throw unfounded allegations and insults around pretty freely, when unsupervised, and prefer fast paced games, so I would not be surprised if your opponent is 12 or 14.
I've been playing Online chess here for a year and more and have encountered nothing but politeness and courtesy from my opponents.

Yes I think this happens a lot. I also think there are many players here who just cheat occasionally. Someone on here once put it quite well; often it's not that they want to win so much, as they don't want you to win.
For the record I'm sure you weren't cheating e-check.

Haha... thanks... I think! :)
You are a 1200 and were playing like a 1300 ....
I was accused of using opening theory from some book in a Chess960 game.

the "blitz improved my game" argument, that you so keenly used, looked completely ridiculous after seeing your blitz rating being at 910 (considering you ve been beating 1400s in correspondence). Furthermore, blitz/bullet games dont help someone's chess because there is no time to analyze the position, its an application of known patterns / skills you ve acquired from standard games, analysis and/or books.
Currently playing online chess with some player who challenged me to a rematch after I beat him/her. I play a simple move with my rook behind my pawn which will attack his queen after my pawn takes either his knight or pawn. I then get accused of using an engine! I don't even use chess software. He reckons because my rating is only in the 1200s, how can I possibly play those moves... I hardly play any online chess. I've played blitz mostly for the past couple of years, which has really improved my game. Guess I should take it as a compliment. Dick
