Any tips on not raging?

Sure, here's a tip; see an anger management specialist. Or just don't play chess, and find some other hobby.
I mean, sure, I get angry too (at myself) for screwing up games, but these things happen unfortunately. You can't win them all.

Their is a big difference between frustration and rage. You or anyone else wants to act like they are raging that is your right. But the fact that you dont see it in person tells you all you need to know.

I don't rage

I second #6, a good place to start is ensuring your world view is not dysfunctional and the source of your problem.

Oh, I've been there - done it. And you already recognize it isn't a winning strategy which is great! Step away. Step away. Step away. Give it a day away. If you then lose the next two games in a row then step away for two days.
That's what I'm doing right now and I am great at giving advice! And when you lose even worse, come back and tell us about it. I learn from the mistakes of people who took my advice.
Honestly though, I hear you and understand. Give yourself time and space and focus on why you lost using Analysis so you'll kick behind when you DO play again. And play bots with no time constraints so no pressure! Hang in there!

Make an alt
I like the idea! After an 18-hour emergency shift, I like to play to unwind but I'm dumb as a rock then and my ELO plummets. But I fear that, when I play on alternate account, I'll WIN! And then I can't transfer that win to my original account and that could be worse. hahah! catch-22!

Strangely enough I've done that quite a few times. Then when I'd come out of my room my sister would ask, "Losing at chess again?" LOL

Losing two games in a row? Hey, I've lost five, six games in a row, so I know how frustrating that can be!

I lost seven Rapid's in a row a few days ago. It can be painful and I'm irk'd at myself for it but almost-immediately switch to studying WHY I lost and it is a great gift that we can't get if we had won. I like your attitude!
