Dude I been playing for close to a year, got decent on rapid and blitz, then i hit a wall. Took some time off and worked on puzzles. I have come back and have been destroyed in blitz. Down a few hundred elo to 350. It's a miserable feeling. It seems like NO ONE makes me mistakes except me when i play. Not sure if more people are just using bots but who knows.

Personally Ive been doing decent in blitz i like faster paced chess so I don’t play rapid often, if possible I’d definitely learn some new openings like i usually do during my lunch time since i have chess club. If anyone has some good openings to play especially in blitz tell me please. Currently I’d like to focus on learning the Carro Kann but I’d definitely stop that and learn any opening focused on blitz

Also some openings I’d recommend if you play blitz is the kings finechatto on white or the Indian defense on black you could also mix in the accelerated London.
