Oh maker of chairs - maybe you should play fantasy chess, as in 'game of bones'

Kraynight

That's telling him rdec.

A man with one dummy is a baby, a man whose avatar is a man with a dummy, is a double baby - when you can demonstrate basic character analysis, instead of cliche, that would be the time to point out, that it is not crying but snivelling, i have my reason to snivell and to express it, what is yours to read it and then bother to write a reply ? the above analysis of mine may indicate that your self is under-developed, too easy to get over.

That's telling him WIKI.

WIth a premium account there are no ads.

Exactly! they are bullying the punters, well it won't work, and anyway my point is that they (chess.com) keep making out like it is beyond there control, this is duplicitous, how am i even going to trust a site without immaculate scruples with my triple platinum credit cards, oh sorry, do i mean dole card. So! they may have to ban me from the site, I'm an elder statesman and a star (okay okay not at chess) and with good will would help chess.com until my death, promoting its good name - i mean look, if say, 'Dangerous Minds' can manage without intrusive adverts, chess.com should be able too as well, maybe the administrators do not really love chess. Which is why i am snivelling on about it, the drag of looking for decent sites to play is time i scarcely want to have. But look 'community' just forget it, I do not want a war of words with those who dont agree, especially any dummies.

The first time i posted this as a topic several folk said they also experienced adverts for dettol a huge company, a company who have told me thay only advertise on sites that they have contracts with, where are the other users who are trying to play chess while being bombarded with noisy adverts, why does nobody else care, chess should be played with full concentration, at least as an option. any feedback would be appreciated.

JUST GET ADBLOCK. I did before I became a premium member.

Chess.com is free because of ads. If you don't like them then report them here.

just why?

Who wouldn't be a dummy for that big racked mama! - I love your all rolling & devouring mama figure, what a rack eh, and that is a rolling pin yea ? - it brings to mind Sigmund Freud's maxim about weak men wanting there mothers to strap them on - don't get me wrong, i do love it, too - As for ad-block, why do you think they want to help you so much ? just asking. By the way why does selling toe fungus cream and breath freshner help chess.com be free, surely not all the members suffer like whatisname - now if they were selling nice things visually, like cerebral stuff or chess related - truth is my friends, chess.com have sold there advertising budget to the highest corporate bidder, and as usual, they are as ignorant as p-- s--- or would be trying to sell me high class none dummie escorts or hand crafted chess sets or ------

WIKIPAWN

I have sussed you out kleelof, that's Christina Hendricks, not in drag for a change - she is no dummy

My crying in public, as rdecredico suggested it was, has brought a response that suggests it was not the self pity he suggested, possibly backed by some other chess.com users: see below

Hello!

I think I can really help you here. Thanks to users like you, we realized that 1, ads are a real problem we are facing on the site. And 2. how much it was really bothering our users.

As you probably know we don’t choose each add individually. Rather we use an ad service. So the question facing us became this one. Do we switch services, or try to work with the one we’ve got to clean up the ads.

At the moment, we are trying option two, though of course, we can always change up if we need to!

You ask about taking a screenshot of a sound, and of course that’s not very possible! I mean, I guess you could take a video of the add, or you could take a picture of the soundwave or something, but this is not what we are looking for at all. The reason we ask for the screenshots is that those are what we use to let our ad service know that this ad is not acceptable to us. So we don’t need a screenshot of the sound, we need a screenshot of the ad that MADE the sound.

Now, in certain cases this isn’t possible, and we’re aware of that!

To make matters even worse, certain spyware and malware programs project ads onto the ad spaces of sites, so some of the reports of bad ads aren’t even coming from the service.

So these are the obstacles facing us. However, please believe me, you and I are of one mind on this one. We both want the ads on the site to be as un-obtrusive as possible. To that end, I want to post a link to where you can report an ad in order to possibly get a free diamond membership:

And here are a few more details about this:
http://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/reward-earn-diamond-membership-by-finding-and-reporting-bad-ads

Now I mentioned some of our obstacles we face in cleaning up this issue. But what I’d want to know is if there are any you have in reporting which I can help you with. You mentioned the screenshot of sound, but I hope I’ve cleared that up. If not, let me know and additionally let me know what more we can do to enable you to help us clean up this problem.

I’ll be looking out for your response,

Regards,
