Probably people of a wide variety of ages are on chess.com... however, the degree of engagement on forums and comments might be different depending on the age...
In other words, i think more mature people tend to talk less.

If I had to guess, the average age is 20-30. Keep in mind, most people who play chess here never touch the forums.
